This policy explains what Cabanga 360 does with personal information, in plain language and without the usual padding. It is short because the site itself collects very little.

Effective July 2026 · Cabanga Africa Pty Ltd

01Who we are

Cabanga 360 is a pan-African marketing, advertising and communications agency, operated by Cabanga Africa Pty Ltd, a company registered in Botswana with its head office in Gaborone and further offices in Johannesburg, South Africa and Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe.

Cabanga Africa Pty Ltd is the responsible party for the personal information described here.

02What this website collects

This website has no server-side forms, no account system, no logins and no advertising or analytics tracking scripts. Nothing you type into the quote builder is transmitted to us by the page itself.

  • The quote builder. Your selections and details are assembled in your own browser and passed to your own email application when you press send. Nothing leaves your device until you send that message yourself, and you can edit or discard it first.
  • No cookies are set by this site. We do not place tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.
  • Typefaces. The page loads Barlow and Barlow Condensed from Google Fonts. That request reaches Google and, like any web request, carries your internet protocol address and browser details. It is the only third-party request the page makes.
  • Hosting logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and reliability. These are technical records, not marketing records.

03What we collect when you contact us

When you email us, message us on WhatsApp or telephone us, we hold what you send: your name, your company, your contact details and whatever you tell us about the work. If we go on to do business together we will also hold the ordinary records of a commercial relationship, including briefs, approvals, invoices and correspondence.

We ask you not to send sensitive personal information, payment card details or passwords by email or messaging app. If we need anything of that kind we will tell you a safer way to send it.

04What we use it for

  • Answering your enquiry and preparing a proposal or indicative figure.
  • Delivering the work you have engaged us to do, including buying media on your behalf.
  • Administration, invoicing, accounting and meeting our statutory record-keeping obligations.
  • Occasional updates about our own services, where you have asked for them or where you are already a client. Every such message carries a way to stop receiving them.
We do not sell personal information. We do not rent, trade or share contact lists with third parties for their own marketing.

05Client material and confidentiality

Material you give us in the course of an engagement, including data, customer lists, commercial figures and unpublished plans, is treated as confidential and used only to do the work. It is not used to inform work for a competitor, and it is not published as a case study without your agreement.

The magazine network in which we place advertising is published independently. Being a client of the agency gives no access to, and no influence over, editorial decisions, and information given to the agency is not passed to editorial teams.

06Who else may see it

We use a small number of ordinary business suppliers, such as email, file storage, accounting software, hosting and the advertising platforms on which client media is bought. They process information on our instruction and for no other purpose. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Some of these suppliers operate outside Botswana. Where information crosses a border we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard.

07How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are kept for as long as the conversation is realistically live and then removed. Records of completed engagements are kept for as long as the law and our accounting obligations require, and no longer than is sensible after that.

08Your rights

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it, and ask us to stop sending you anything. Write to us and we will deal with it. We will not make you justify the request.

09Changes

If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not make quiet amendments.
